We're the Haurys, a veteran and family-owned business, built on service and teamwork.
The name Great Outdoors actually came from our son, inspired by a certain 1988 classic movie. He thought it fit what we're building - and once he said it, it stuck.
We take our work seriously, but not ourselves. Whether we're supporting wildfire operations or helping families get outside and enjoy our valley, our approach is the same: be prepared, do the job right, but keep things fun.

Our kayak and paddleboard rentals are for locals and visitors looking for an easy way to get out on the lakes and rivers.
Who are your kayak & sup rentals for?
Negative. Our wildfire support are provided exclusively through U.S. Forest Service contracting. We don't offer UTV services to private individuals or organizations.
